Main bearing of large diameter shield with diameter of 11m was successfully finished from production line of LYC Bearing Corporation

On January 14, 2019, the main bearing of the 11m diameter large-diameter shield was successfully finished from production line of LYC Bearing Corporation. The main bearing of this production line, with a diameter of 4.8m and a weight of about 20t, can meet the continuous use of the large-diameter shield machine for 10000 hours.

After the completion of the product, it will be applied to the first domestic remanufactured large-diameter slurry shield machine, and undertake the tunneling task in the subsea tunnel project. Next, LYC will study the intellectualization of the main bearing of the shield machine and the large-scale main bearing, and continue to pay attention to the use of equipment, so as to make the shield machine, a big heavy equipment, fully realize "made in China" as soon as possible.
